It’s been discussed in the forum before, but a few days ago saw the release of Left 4 Dead, styled as if it had come out on the NES back in the day (a ‘de-make’). It comes in at a paltry 19.5mb and is a standalone executable, no NES emulator needed, just a PC with a keyboard! You can play 2 player co-op (the creator tells why there is no 4-player co-op in the read me file) and the game has all the special infected. I bumped into a hunter which are surprisingly hard to kill! It’s very faithful to the original, there is even some of the music in there, all be-it with an ’8-bit flair’. Awesome stuff… now hosted right here on The Muppet Clan website.

Hopefully it can be burnt to a cart and played on a real NES with a NES controller. I love the idea of these games but as a collector I absolutely loathe to have anything on an emulator unless there is no other option. Cheers Demon
